First Notice of Annual Meeting and Election of Directors
(and procedure for qualifying for the Board)
Ocean Park Owners’ Association, Inc, will have its Annual Meeting on Tuesday,
March 15, 2022, at 6:00 pm (EST) online in a Zoom meeting. To join the Zoom meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Association will be held to fill vacancies on the 2022 Board,
and such other business as may lawfully be conducted. This notice informs you of the
process for qualifying for the Board. Enclosed you will find the Notice of Intent as well
as the Candidate Information Statement.
QUALIFYING FOR THE BOARD
On or before February 2, 2022, you must give written notice, either by mail or in
person to the Association of your desire to run for the Board, addressed to the
Association’s mailing address: Ocean Park Owners’ Association, Inc., 333 Taylor Ave.,
Cape Canaveral, FL, 32920. The attached “Notice of Intent to be a Candidate for the
Board may be used for that purpose. Also attached is a Candidate Information Statement,
which must be no larger than 8 ½ inches by 11 inches, containing your qualifications
and/or platform for office. If you choose to submit the Candidate Information Statement,
it must be sent to the Association on or before February 7, 2022.
At present we have 5 members on the Board of Directors. Cheryl, our Treasurer
has tendered her resignation effective at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. There
will be an election if we have more than five people who want to serve on the Board. If
that happens, the Candidate Information Sheets and ballots will be mailed out with the
Second Notice/Agenda which needs to be sent out no less than 14 days before the Annual
Meeting.
